Help the project

I've had a few people ask how they can help me out with this project, and that means a lot to me. I get on average 2 rings to add every day, and I remove about 2 rings a week. However, there are a few things that can only do some good, and here they are...

  • Donate a little bit of money to go towards the domain name purchase and running costs. For various personal reasons I don't have the money to spare, though I work hard to keep the site up to date. I know lots of people really benefit from this site. If you'd like to show your gratitude in monetary ways then I know I (and a lot of other people) will appreciate it. (Some people have asked about thanking me personally in the past, and I always appreciate a healthy pair of wings...!)

Donate any amount (£3 is very helpful
and still small) for the Bookring Directory

Domain fee is $8.99 per year,
and hosting is about $1 per month, I think?

    Thank you!

  • Use the little snippet of HTML text that can be found to the left, under the menu. If you copy and paste it, it should come out as a link that opens in a new window, like this: I list my bookrings at The Bookring Directory!
This can be pasted into your profile page or into individual journal entries for bookrings. I think putting it into JEs would be most helpful, because then people who want to look at your bookring might also be interested in joining other rings.
  • When browsing for bookrings to join, if you notice that a ring is closed or full or complete, PM me and I can remove it. The same goes for bad spelling, links that don't work, and in general things about the website that aren't working properly.
  • If you feel that the site isn't as good as it could be, let me know what you think I should change. Go on, be cheeky!
  • And last but not least, tell me all about your rings and rays and so on. The more, the better, right?
Thank you!
